As we begin this Advent journey,
We light the first candle, the Candle of Hope,
And we remember the hope that Christ brings to the world.
May this light shine brightly in our hearts,
Reminding us that no darkness can extinguish the promise of God’s love.

In this season of waiting, we trust in the hope of Christ’s coming,
A hope that is steadfast and sure,
A hope that brings peace amidst turmoil,
A hope that renews and restores.

We pray for the courage to wait with expectant hearts,
For the hope that God’s promises will be fulfilled.
May this hope strengthen us when we feel weary,
And lift us up when we are discouraged,
For Christ is our hope, our light in the darkness.

May the light of this candle guide us
In all the moments of our Advent journey,
And may we share the hope of Christ with others,
That all may know the joy and peace of His coming.

Blessed Advent, filled with hope, to you and all the world.
